Length of Service Required When Advancement Denied. When an officer or employee has not been approved for advancement to the merit step E, he or she may be reconsidered for such advancement after the completion of three (3) months of additional service and shall be reconsidered for such advancement after the completion of six (6) months of additional service. This reconsideration shall follow the same steps and shall be subject to the same actions as provided in Subparagraphs B (2) and B (3) of this Section.

  • Length of Service For purposes of this Agreement and the method of computing sick leave, annual leave, seniority, and other conditions of employment, except as otherwise provided for herein, a “month” shall be defined as 173.3 hours of work, and a year shall be defined as 2080 hours of work. For purposes of computing longevity (wage) increments and annual leave progression steps, a “year” shall be defined as 1664 hours of work or twelve (12) months, whichever comes last. Time paid for but not worked (excluding standby pay) shall be regarded as time worked for purposes of computing wages and benefits. Time worked which is paid on an overtime basis shall count as time worked for purposes of computing wages and benefits not to exceed 2080 hours within any twelve (12) month period.

  • CURTAILMENT OF SERVICE 1. In the event of a Gas Supply Deficiency on the Seller's system, the Seller shall require curtailment of service to Buyer in accordance with the following procedure:

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14.   • Determination of Service for Sick Leave with Pay Actual time worked and all leave with pay, except for educational leave, shall be included in determining the pro rata accrual of sick leave credits each month, provided that the employee works thirty-two (32) hours or more in that month.

  • Commencement of Service The Company hereby engages the Executive as President and Director and the Executive hereby agrees to such service on the terms and conditions described in this Agreement. The Executive is being engaged directly by the Company as an Executive who will be compensated for the services rendered as herein provided. This replacement Executive Service Agreement with the Company will commence on January 1, 2013 (the effective date of this contract).
