Letters of Authorization (LOA. 3.1.3.1 In response to Letters of Authorization to be issued periodically by the Director, Architect/Engineer shall perform services as set forth under this Contract and each LOA. The extent of such assigned work and the payment basis after negotiations with Architect/Engineer have been completed for each LOA will be defined in each LOA in accordance with this Contract. Architect/Engineer agrees that it shall diligently perform all assigned Project tasks and meet the delivery schedules of the Project Schedule established for the Project in each LOA. Architect/Engineer acknowledges that time is of the essence in performing services under this Contract. Architect/Engineer shall not begin services until it receives a signed LOA from the Director.
