Letters of Expectation. 22.1.1 A letter of expectation is a non-disciplinary disciplinary, coaching letter issued by a Xxxx to an employeethe University. The purpose of a letter of expectation is to counsel provide guidance, communicate expectations, and communicatereduce future misunderstandings. A letter of expectation shall be removed from the official file after a period of 24 months of active employment, provided there has been no documented disciplinary action of any kind in the interim. Notwithstanding the above, upon written request by a member to the Xxxx, such material may be removed after a period of 12 months.
