Level I - Informal. i. Before filing a grievance, and within ten (10) days following knowledge of the act or condition which is the basis of the complaint, the grievant shall meet with their immediate supervisor to discuss the grievance and solve the problem at the lowest level, clarify issues, state the solution, and work cooperatively toward settlement. If the issue cannot be resolved, both parties can mutually agree to engage Human Resources to assist in obtaining successful resolution of the dispute.
