Common use of Level One – Immediate Supervisor Clause in Contracts

Level One – Immediate Supervisor. a. Any member or members of the unit may present his/her grievance to his/her immediate supervisor. Such grievance shall be in writing and must state specifically (1) that the grievance procedure is being invoked; (2) the nature of the grievance; (3) the specific terms of the contract on which the grievance is based. The grieving employee may appear alone or with a representative of the bargaining unit.
