  • Matching Funds The Recipient shall, at a minimum, contribute not less than twenty-five percent (25%) of the total Cost of Project as set forth in Appendix D of this Agreement. The Matching Funds shall be for the sole and express purpose of paying or reimbursing the costs certified to the OPWC under this Agreement. In the event that the total actual Project costs exceed the estimated Cost of Project identified in Appendix D, the OPWC shall not be required to increase the maximum amount of the grant provided herein and the Recipient shall increase its Matching Funds to meet such actual Cost of Project.

  • USE OF EMPLOYER FACILITIES 8.01 Reasonable space on bulletin boards will be made available to the Alliance for the posting of official notices, in convenient locations determined by the Employer and the Alliance. The Employer shall have the right to refuse the posting of any information which it considers adverse to its interests or to the interests of any of its representatives. Notices or other material shall require the prior approval of the Employer, except notices relating to the business affairs of the Alliance and social and recreational events.   • Training Fund Employers and/or individuals who manage, operate, assist or own, either partially or wholly, a company or companies working non-union in the construction industry on Mainland Nova Scotia within the craft jurisdiction of xxx Xxxxxxxxxx Local 83 shall not be eligible to be appointed to serve, or to continue to serve, as trustees on any trust fund referred to within this Collective Agreement. This provision shall apply to management trustees and union trustees alike.

  • Leave for Association Business The Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence, without pay, to nurses selected by the Association to attend Association business including conferences, conventions and Provincial Committee meetings and to any nurse elected to the position of Local Co-ordinator. The cumulative total leave of absence, the amount of notice, the number of nurses that may be absent at any time from one area and the number of days (including those of the Local Co-ordinator) is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions. During such leave of absence, a nurse's salary and applicable benefits or percentage in lieu of fringe benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the local Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the daily rate of the full-time nurse or in the amount of the full cost of such salary and percentage in lieu of fringe benefits of a part-time nurse except for Provincial Committee meetings which will be reimbursed by the Association. The Hospital will bill the local Association within a reasonable period of time. Part-time nurses will receive service and seniority credit for all leaves granted under this Article.

  • Public Benefit It is Reaction Retail’s understanding that the commitments it has agreed to herein, and actions to be taken by Reaction Retail under this Settlement Agreement, would confer a significant benefit to the general public, as set forth in Code of Civil Procedure § 1021.5 and Cal. Admin. Code tit. 11, § 3201. As such, it is the intent of Reaction Retail that to the extent any other private party initiates an action alleging a violation of Proposition 65 with respect to Reaction Retail’s failure to provide a warning concerning exposure to DEHP prior to use of the Products it has manufactured, distributed, sold, or offered for sale in California, or will manufacture, distribute, sell, or offer for sale in California, such private party action would not confer a significant benefit on the general public as to those Products addressed in this Settlement Agreement, provided that Reaction Retail is in material compliance with this Settlement Agreement.

  • WORKING FROM HOME 51.1. Subject to this clause, the Employer may consider the introduction of working from home arrangements. The introduction of working from home arrangements does not provide for the Employee’s primary place of work to be moved from the Employee’s headquarters/work base to the Employee’s home.

  • Public Benefits This Agreement provides assurances that the Public Benefits identified below will be achieved and developed in accordance with the Applicable Rules and Project Approvals and with the terms of this Agreement and subject to the City’s Reserved Powers. The Project will provide Public Benefits to the City, including without limitation:

  • Unbroken Vacation Period An Employee shall receive an unbroken period of vacation unless mutually agreed upon between the Employee and the Employer.

  • Employer Notice If the Employer creates a new position, it shall give written notice to the Union classification department of the job classification/wage level it has assigned to that position, pursuant to Article 61 - Wage Schedules and shall provide a copy of the new job description to the Union, pursuant to Article 23 – Job Descriptions.

  • ANTI-COMPETITIVE BEHAVIOR Contractor will not collude, in any manner, or engage in any practice which may restrict or eliminate competition or otherwise restrain trade.
