Limited Contract. The retired teacher will be hired under a limited contract. The provisions of this agreement concerning contract sequence (section 9.02) shall not be applicable to the retired teacher.

Limited Contract. The Board will give limited contracts in the following sequence to teachers who have evidenced satisfactory teaching through the approved evaluation system: One (1) year limited contract for the first four (4) years of employment and two (2) year limited contracts thereafter.
Limited Contract a contract for employment of a teacher for a term of one year only or for that portion of the school year that remains as the time of employment. Generally this is the term used for contracts before tenure.
Limited Contract. At the expiration of his/her present limited contract, a teacher serving under such contract shall be considered for a two (2) year limited contract, providing the following qualifications have been met: 1. The teacher has served at least three (3) consecutive years under one (1) year limited contracts; and, 2. Limited Contract. 1. The first three (3) limited contracts shall be for a term of one (1) year each. All future renewals shall be for a minimum for two (2) years. 2. If re-employed for a fourth year, the Board will issue a two-year contract thereafter on the basis of the recommendation of the Superintendent until they are eligible to receive a continuing contract. In case of a RIF situation, these multiple year contracts will be suspended in accordance with law.

Limited Contract a. This Section shall be used for persons who: (1) Are on a one-year limited contract. (2) Are in the last year of a multi-year limited contract. (3) Are up for a continuing contract. (4) Had a special appraisal the previous year. (5) Request it. b. The Teacher Self-Help Questionnaire should be completed. c. There shall be at least one (1) Regular Appraisal Cycle observation prior to December 15; and, if requested by the teacher or the Administration, at least one (1) more regular appraisal cycle observation between December 15 and April 20.
Limited Contract teachers first employed by the LaBrae Local Schools after June 1, 2017, shall, for the first two (2) years of employment, be subject to non-renewal of employment for any non-performance based reason not specifically prohibited by law at the discretion of the Board of Education without recourse to either the statutory hearing process set forth in O.R.C. §3319.11 or the grievance process of Article V of this Agreement. Limited Contract teachers subject to this paragraph shall be evaluated in accord with either O.R.C. §3319.111 or §3319.112 as applicable, and shall be given written notice of non-renewal by the date mandated in O.R.C. §3319.
Limited Contract. A teacher employed under a one-year limited contract and who is subsequently re-employed by the Board shall be re- employed for a period not to exceed one (1) year.
