Limited Contract Teachers. All limited contract teachers with a final holistic rating of Accomplished shall be considered comparable. All limited contract teachers with a final holistic rating of Skilled and Developing shall be considered comparable. All limited contract teachers with a final holistic rating of Ineffective shall have no seniority for the purpose of RIF.

Limited Contract Teachers. Pay for limited contract teachers shall be as per step and level of the salary schedule, and they shall be eligible for all other fringe benefits. Limited contract teachers shall receive one year of experience credit for each consecutive year they teach under a limited contract, provided the teacher is contracted for one semester or more. In addition, if they meet the requirements of the Teacher Employment, Compensation and Dismissal Act they shall be placed on non- probationary status.

Limited Contract Teachers. Teachers on limited contracts who are in the final Ohio Valley (Adams County) Master Contract 2013-2016 year of their limited contract and are up for renewal may be non-renewed by the Board in the manner set forth in 3319.11 of the Ohio Revised Code. However, if for reasons as stated in Article 5.7.1, Reasons For Reduction In Force, the Board deems it necessary to reduce staff, the Board shall follow the provisions of Article 5.7 in lieu of non-renewing a teachers’ contract. Exceptions will be upon the return to duty, of professional staff members, after leaves of absence. In this circumstance, the Board may choose to non-renew, RIF, or rehire the substitute employee for another available position.
