Common use of List of Holidays Clause in Contracts

List of Holidays. (a) Employees shall, upon completion of fifteen (15) working days within the most recent thirty (30) working days, be entitled to the following statutory holidays: New Year’s Day B.C. Day Good Friday Labour Day Easter Monday Thanksgiving Day Victoria Day Remembrance Day Canada Day Christmas Day Boxing Day Family Day AND any other day proclaimed by the federal or provincial governments to be declared as a statutory holiday. When any of the above days fall on a prescribed school day, a day in lieu shall be arranged by mutual consent. (b) Holidays shall be prorated for part-time employees.
