Common use of Local      Committee Clause in Contracts

Local      Committee. The Hospital agrees to recognize a Negotiating Committee comprising of members to be elected, or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit, who have completed their probationary period. Where the Hospital participates in Central bargaining, the purpose of the Negotiating Committee shall be to negotiate local issues as defined. Where the Hospital does not participate in central bargaining, the purpose of the Negotiating Committee shall be to negotiate a renewal of this Collective Agreement.
