Local Professional Development Committee. 1. The Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) shall be established to oversee and review professional development plans pursuant to ORC 3319. 2. The Board and the Union shall establish governance, structure procedures, and meeting schedules of the LPDC. The LPDC shall be comprised of teachers and administrators. There shall be one more teacher on the LPDC than administrators. The teacher members shall be selected by the Union. The administrative members shall be selected by the Superintendent. 3. Participation in the district Residency Programs is a requirement for all teachers through their first four years of teaching.
