Creation of Local Professional Development Committee There shall be one (1) district wide Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC), consisting of seven (7) members who are employees of the Springfield Board of Education. Two members of the LPDC will be appointed by the Superintendent and shall be a voting members of the Committee. B. The LPDC shall consist of eight members: five (5) bargaining unit members, each with at least three (3) years of experience, four (4) of whom must be classroom teachers, and three (3) administrators. The Association President shall appoint the teachers; the Superintendent shall appoint the administrators. 1. Terms in office shall run from July 1 to June 30.
