Common use of Local Union Leave Clause in Contracts

Local Union Leave. Upon written request, leave of absence without pay may be given to employees for Union business. The Union agrees in making requests for such leave of absence that it will not unduly affect the proper operations of the Home. However, the Employer agrees that permission for such leave will not be unreasonably withheld.
