Lofts Sample Clauses

Lofts. Built-in (wall or ceiling attachment) structures are prohibited. Free-standing loft structures are permitted however the University of New Hampshire and the Department of Housing assume no responsibility for residents building their own bed units. The top of a loft mattress must be at least 30" from the ceiling. The Department of Housing and/or the Durham Fire Department reserve the right to determine the danger of lofts and require their removal.

Lofts. Personal lofts are not permitted in the residence halls. This includes the use of cinderblocks to raise beds. Students wishing to loft their beds can rent lofts from the Office of Campus Life within the first two weeks of the semester. Lofts will be removed by the Physical Plant staff after students vacate their rooms. If a student changes rooms, it is the responsibility of the student to notify the Office of Campus Life to have their loft moved to their newly assigned room. Damages The College will assess damage charges for unauthorized use of, and alterations to, rooms, furnishings, equipment, and buildings, and for special cleaning necessitated by improper care of rooms and equipment. Students will be referred to the student conduct system for damages that constitute vandalism.

The bed heights can be adjusted in most buildings – with the exceptions being Colclough, Xxxxxxxx, and Xxxxxxx due to ceiling height. In regards to heightened/bunk bed safety, the student assumes full financial and personal responsibility for any risks arising from the use of heightened or bunked beds and shall, to the maximum extent of the law, release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge the University, its officers, trustees, and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of actions whatsoever arising out of or related to any damages or injuries, including death, resulting from the student’s use of such beds. . The student also acknowledges he/she is aware safety rails are available upon request through their respective area office should he/she desire to be provided with the rails.

  • 1General Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, any notice, demand or request required or permitted to be given by a Party to the other Parties and any instrument required or permitted to be tendered or delivered by a Party in writing to the other Parties shall be effective when delivered and may be so given, tendered or delivered, by recognized national courier, or by depositing the same with the United States Postal Service with postage prepaid, for delivery by certified or registered mail, addressed to the Party, or personally delivered to the Party, at the address set out in Appendix F hereto. A Party may change the notice information in this Agreement by giving five (5) Business Days written notice prior to the effective date of the change.

  • S.T If Federal Funds are not received on time, such funds will be invested, and shares purchased thereby will be issued, as soon as practicable.

  • Lodging Board members should request conference rate or mid-fare room accommodations. A single room rate will be reimbursed. Board members should pay personal expenses at checkout. If that is impossible, deductions for the charges should be made on the expense form.

  • SPECIAL SERVICES Should the Trust have occasion to request the Adviser to perform services not herein contemplated or to request the Adviser to arrange for the services of others, the Adviser will act for the Trust on behalf of the Fund upon request to the best of its ability, with compensation for the Adviser's services to be agreed upon with respect to each such occasion as it arises.

  • Name of Building Tenant shall not use the name of the Building for any purpose other than as the address of the business conducted by Tenant in the Premises without the written consent of Landlord. Landlord reserves the right to change the name of the Building at any time in its sole discretion by written notice to Tenant and Landlord shall not be liable to Tenant for any loss, cost or expense on account of any such change of name.

  • Entertainment Costs of entertainment, including amusement, diversion, and social activities, and any costs directly associated with such activities (such as tickets to shows or sports events, meals, lodging, rentals, transportation, and gratuities) are unallowable.

  • Car 7.1 You will be provided you with a car of suitable age, make, model and specification during the continuance of your employment in accordance with the policy laid down by the Company from time to time and the Company shall pay all standing and running costs relating to it (including the cost of fuel for private mileage) but not any taxable benefit arising. You shall comply with all rules laid down by the Company in relation to Company vehicles, notify the Company immediately of any accident involving your car and of any charge brought against you for a motoring offence and, unless otherwise agreed, shall return the car to your place of work forthwith on termination of your employment.

  • Asset Management Supplier will: i) maintain an asset inventory of all media and equipment where Accenture Data is stored. Access to such media and equipment will be restricted to authorized Personnel; ii) classify Accenture Data so that it is properly identified and access to it is appropriately restricted; iii) maintain an acceptable use policy with restrictions on printing Accenture Data and procedures for appropriately disposing of printed materials that contain Accenture Data when such data is no longer needed under the Agreement; iv) maintain an appropriate approval process whereby Supplier’s approval is required prior to its Personnel storing Accenture Data on portable devices, remotely accessing Accenture Data, or processing such data outside of Supplier facilities. If remote access is approved, Personnel will use multi-factor authentication, which may include the use of smart cards with certificates, One Time Password (OTP) tokens, and biometrics.
