UNIVERSITY HOUSING COMMUNITY STANDARDS. The key to a safe community is you! We all have to take the responsibility to keep ourselves and our halls safe, share information about problems, and look out for each other. The University of Oregon's highest priority is the safety of all persons who participate in university programs and activities. You are encouraged to report to University Housing staff any unsafe or illegal behaviors. In doing so, it is important to note that all University Housing staff may share the information with the appropriate university officials including the University of Oregon Police Department. This includes but is not limited to the following: unwanted sexual behavior, sexual assault, suicidal thoughts and attempts, alcohol poisoning, drug abuse, trespassing, weapons, eating disorders, harassment and discrimination, domestic violence, theft, and vandalism. All University employees, including student staff, are mandated reporters of child abuse and prohibited discrimination, including sexual harassment and assault. We expect that you will share in the responsibility of creating a safe community for all its members. The following community standards are in place to provide everyone a safe environment conducive to sleep, study, and socializing within University expectations. Violations of the community expectations or conduct standards outlined below could result in disciplinary action by University Housing and/or the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards. Residents are required to comply with the below community expectations and conduct policies, the Student Conduct Code, which is expressly incorporated into this agreement and the City of Xxxxxx ordinance regarding excessive noise. The housing community expectations and conduct policies are subject to review and will be provided to residents upon check-in.

UNIVERSITY HOUSING COMMUNITY STANDARDS. In addition to abiding by applicable federal, state and local laws, and the University conduct rules outlined in the Student Rights, Rules and Responsibilities, the student is expected to understand, support and live by community standards, rules and regulations established for all residences. Violations of any of the above, which could result in suspension or expulsion from the University, will be forwarded to the Office of Conduct and Mediation. Residents evicted or suspended for reasons of conduct will be financially responsible for that semester’s rent.

  • Residence Community Living Standards The Residence Community Living Standards (“RCLS”) forms a part of this Agreement. It details the rights, responsibilities, and privileges of Residents as well as the residence conduct process. Each Resident is responsible for reading, understanding, and adhering to the terms outlined within the RCLS. The Manager and the Institution may amend the terms of the RCLS from time to time and may post the amendments in the Residence. Failure to abide by the RCLS may result in eviction from Residence and termination of this Agreement as per the violations and sanctions outlined in the RCLS, and as stated in section 8.01(d).   • Management; Community Policies Owner may retain employees and management agents from time to time to manage the Property, and Owner’s agent may retain other employees or contractors. Resident, on behalf of himself or herself and his or her Guests, agrees to comply fully with all directions from Owner and its employees and agents, and the rules and regulations (including all amendments and additions thereto, except those that substantially modify the Resident’s bargain and to which Resident timely objects) as contained in this Agreement and the Community Policies of the Property. The Community Policies are available at xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/policies.pdf or on request from the management office and are considered part of this Agreement.

  • Enterprise Information Management Standards Grantee shall conform to HHS standards for data management as described by the policies of the HHS Office of Data, Analytics, and Performance. These include, but are not limited to, standards for documentation and communication of data models, metadata, and other data definition methods that are required by HHS for ongoing data governance, strategic portfolio analysis, interoperability planning, and valuation of HHS System data assets.

  • Equal Opportunity Compliance The Contractor agrees to abide by all federal and state laws and rules and regulations, and executive orders of the Governor of the State of New Mexico, pertaining to equal employment opportunity. In accordance with all such laws of the State of New Mexico, the Contractor assures that no person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental handicap, or serious medical condition, spousal affiliation, sexual orientation or gender identity, be excluded from employment with or participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity performed under this Agreement.   • Home Health Care This plan covers the following home care services when provided by a certified home healthcare agency: • nursing services; • services of a home health aide; • visits from a social worker; • medical supplies; and • physical, occupational and speech therapy.

  • Training and Professional Development 11.1 The Employer will develop and maintain an employee training and development plan and provide such plan to the Union upon request. Staff training is intended to provide an opportunity for classified staff employees for training sponsored by the University Training and Development and the UW Medical Centers Organizational Development and Training. Education/Professional Leave is intended to facilitate employee access to continuing education opportunities. Training and educational/professional leave may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing staff for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities within the framework of staff positions available at the University. 11.2 Any release time for training for employees accepted for such classes shall be in accordance with the Executive Order (currently No. 52) governing this matter. In the event that two or more employees request the same training period and supervision must limit the number of persons who may participate at one time due to work requirements, the selection will be made on a mutually agreeable basis within the department. 11.3 The training program is a proper subject for discussion by either departmental or University-wide Joint Union/Management Committees. 11.4 If the Employer requires an employee to receive training, reimbursement will be provided in accordance with the University travel rules. Employee attendance at Employer required training, either during or outside working hours, will be considered time worked and compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. 11.5 Employee attendance at training not required by the Employer and not covered by Executive Order 52, either on approved leave from or outside of working hours, will be voluntary and not considered time worked.
