Common use of Long-Term Disability Leaves Clause in Contracts

Long-Term Disability Leaves. a. If, by reason of illness or bodily injury, a faculty member continues to be incapable of performing the regular duties of a faculty member, after a period of six months, the faculty member may apply for a long-term disability leave. The long-term disability leave will be granted only if the faculty member qualifies for long-term disability benefits pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the disability plan referred to in paragraph 15.06 of this Agreement.
