Long Term of Absence for Reason of Illness, Accident or Disability. a) A teacher who is absent from work for reasons related to illness, accident, or disability shall be granted long term leave of absence without pay when the teacher's sick leave credit is exhausted and/or the teacher is in receipt of long- term disability benefits.
