Common use of LPN/ARN Hours Clause in Contracts

LPN/ARN Hours. Secondary school LPNs/XXXx shall work an additional one-half hour per day (6 ½ hours per day) (exclusive of lunch period). LPNs/XXXx have five (5) preparation days per year. LPN’s/XXX’s who need additional hours per day or days per year due to workload shall provide a written request to the Health Services Supervisor. The Health Services Supervisor will meet with the LPN/ARN in order to assess the need for an additional time. The initial meeting may include the Licensed School Nurse (LSN), the Principal, and the LPN/ARN. If the parties are not able to reach conclusion on this matter, it will be referred to the Director of Student Services for final resolution.
