Common use of Lunch Period Clause in Contracts

Lunch Period. Lunch break shall be one-half (½) hour as scheduled and taken within one (1) hour of the mid-point of the normal hours of work. The lunch period will be measured from ceasing labour to commencement of labour and will be taken at a time mutually agreed by the Parties hereto. Should expediency require, the normal starting and quitting time and/or lunch period may be changed by mutual agreement of the Parties hereto.

Lunch Period. Lunch (a) Normally a non-paid lunch break shall be one-of either one half (½1/2) hour as scheduled and taken within or one (1) hour of duration will be taken halfway through each shift. However, if job conditions require, the lunch break may be moved up to one (1) hour in either direction. (b) Two (2) mid-point shift breaks of the normal hours of workten (10) minutes will be allowed in each regular shift. The first break shall be between the starting time and the scheduled lunch period will be measured from ceasing labour to commencement of labour and break. Breaks will be taken at a time mutually agreed by the Parties hereto.
