Managed Care Adjustments. As the underlying claims costs for the Extension population are based on CFC and ABD Adults, this experience reflects a very mature managed care environment. Recognizing that managed care techniques may take time to integrate and achieve efficient and effective care delivery; adjustments were made to reflect the likely reduced managed care abilities of the MCPs during the first year of the Extension population.

  • Disaster Recovery PFPC shall enter into and shall maintain in effect with appropriate parties one or more agreements making reasonable provisions for emergency use of electronic data processing equipment to the extent appropriate equipment is available. In the event of equipment failures, PFPC shall, at no additional expense to the Fund, take reasonable steps to minimize service interruptions.
