Management Approval of Leave. The taking of Recreation Leave and Long Service Leave (LSL) is subject to management approval. For management and employees to jointly manage employment liabilities and recreation leave credits effectively, where an employee applies for LSL whilst having a credit of Recreation Leave, such that the taking of LSL would cause the Recreation Leave credit to increase further and places the employee in a situation where they are likely to be deemed to be on recreation leave, then the application for LSL may be rejected. Requests for LSL in conjunction with Recreation Leave will be considered in light of the above.
