Mandate and Purpose. The parties will establish Union Management Committees in various areas of the Company (see list of areas in Appendix A). Each of these Committees shall report to and be subject to the direction of the Joint Steering Committee. The purpose of the Union Management Committee shall be to: ▪ Assist in the implementation of change in the workplace which will achieve the jointly agreed to objectives set out in Section 2; ▪ Assist in the achievement of the department's goals and objectives as set out in the annual business plan of each area, in particular as they relate to facilities.
