Mandatory Additional Training and Education. Where the Company requires mandatory new training in addition to the above, the Company agrees to pay for the cost of taking this training, providing that the employee receives a passing grade and remains in the employ of the Company for a period of 90 days beyond the completion of the training program. In the event that provincial legislation requires a mandatory provincial training course for security guards, the Union agrees to utilize its training centre to facilitate the implementation of this new mandatory training course, after it meets with the Company to reach a mutual agreement on this matter, and the Union agrees to endeavour to obtain funding to defray the Company's cost for such training.
