The Materials & Workmanship clause sets standards for the quality of materials used and the level of skill required in performing work under a contract. Materials & Workmanship. The Contractor shall execute Work in a good and workmanlike manner in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall develop and provide a Quality Control Plan specific to this Project and acceptable to the Owner. Where Contract Documents do not specify quality standards, the Contractor shall complete and construct all Work in compliance with generally accepted construction industry standards. Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall incorporate all new materials and equipment into the Work under the Contract.

All devices and materials shall be a quality intended for commercial or industrial applications as appropriate. Where Contract Documents do not specify a Quality Standard, (either in materials or workmanship) the Provider shall comply with generally accepted construction industry standards.
