MEDICAL AND OTHER PERSONAL SERVICES. We do not maintain a physician or infirmary on the Ship. The Ship is equipped to provide only basic first aid if you become injured or ill until you can be evacuated from the Ship for medical care onshore. You acknowledge that the availability of such evacuation may be limited or delayed by circumstances such as sea conditions or limitations at ports of call. You also acknowledge that any medical care you do receive, whether onboard or onshore, will not be provided by anyone acting under our control or direction, or as our agent. You accept and use medicine, medical treatment and other personal services at your sole risk and expense without liability or responsibility of Carrier whatsoever and agree to indemnify the Carrier for all medical or evacuation costs or expenses incurred on your behalf, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Doctors, nurses or other medical or service personnel work directly for you and shall not be deemed to act under the control or supervision of Carrier, since Carrier is not a medical provider. We do not undertake to supervise the medical expertise of any such medical personnel and will not be liable for the consequences of any examination, advice, diagnosis, medication, treatment, prognosis or other professional services which a doctor or nurse may or may not furnish you. Similarly, and without limitation, instructors, guest lecturers, entertainers and other service personnel shall be considered independent contractors who work directly for the Guest.

MEDICAL AND OTHER PERSONAL SERVICES. The availability of medical care may be limited or delayed, and emergency medical evacuation will not be possible from every location to which the Ship sails. All health, medical or other personal services in connection with the cruise tour are provided solely for your convenience and benefit and you will be charged for such services. You accept and use medicine, medical treatment and other personal services at your sole risk and expense without liability or responsibility of Carrier whatsoever and agree to indemnify the Carrier for all medical or evacuation costs or expenses incurred on your behalf, unless otherwise required by applicable law.   • Consultant’s Contract Manager and Other Staffing Identified below are the following: (a) the Consultant’s contract manager for this Approved Service Order, and (b) the Consultant(s) and/or employee(s) of the Consultant who will be principally responsible for providing the services and deliverables. If an individual identified below does not have a current Form 700 on file with the City Clerk for a separate agreement with the City, and is required to file a Form 700, the Consultant must comply with the requirements of Subsection 17.2 of the Master Agreement, entitled “Filing Form 700.”

  • PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 14, 16 and 17, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration or income derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of personal (including professional) services shall be taxable only in that State unless the services are rendered in the other Contracting State. If the services are so rendered, such remuneration or income as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State.

  • Contractor Employees, Subcontractors, and Other Agents The Customer and the State shall take all actions necessary to ensure that Contractor's employees, subcontractors and other agents are not employees of the State of Florida. Such actions include, but are not limited to, ensuring that Contractor's employees, subcontractors, and other agents receive benefits and necessary insurance (health, workers' compensations, and unemployment) from an employer other than the State of Florida.
