VALUABLES AND PERSONAL ITEMS. WE SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR THE LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO CASH, NEGOTIABLE SECURITIES, GOLD, SILVER, JEWELRY, ORNAMENTS, PRECIOUS STONES, WORKS OF ART, OR OTHER VALUABLES UNLESS THE SAME HAVE BEEN DEPOSITED WITH US AGAINST RECEIPT FOR THE AGREED PURPOSE OF SAFEKEEPING. IN THE EVENT OF SUCH A DEPOSIT, OUR LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE THEREOF SHALL BE LIMITED TO US$100.00, UNLESS VALUE EXCEEDING THAT AMOUNT BE DECLARED IN WRITING. IF THE DECLARED VALUE EXCEEDS U.S.$100.00, WE ARE ENTITLED TO CHARGE 5% OF VALUE DECLARED, UP TO U.S.$5,000.00. UPON PAYMENT OF THIS CHARGE, LIABILITY WILL BE EXTENDED TO THE TRUE VALUE DECLARED BUT IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR AN AMOUNT EXCEEDING U.S.$5,000.00. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO ELECTRONICS, COMPUTERS (WHETHER HANDHELD, LAPTOP OR OTHER), DVD PLAYERS OR DIGITAL OR FLASH DRIVE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, DISKS, MEMORY CARDS OR OTHER ELECTRONIC STORAGE, HANDHELD OR SIMILAR DEVICES, CELLULAR TELEPHONES, CAMERAS, VIDEO OR AUDIO TAPES, CDS, BINOCULARS, RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT, DENTAL HARDWARE, COSMETICS, ELECTRIC HAIR APPLIANCES, EYEWEAR (INCLUDING EYEGLASSES, SUNGLASSES AND CONTACT LENSES), , LIQUOR OR OTHER ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, CIGARETTES, TOBACCO PRODUCTS OR BUSINESS OR OTHER DOCUMENTS, WHETHER CARRIED WITHIN YOUR LUGGAGE OR OTHERWISE.

VALUABLES AND PERSONAL ITEMS. Resident, and not Facility, s hall be responsible for the provision of all personal comfort items, including footwear, clothing and xxxxx cash to be utilized for Resident’s incidental expenses. All clothing and other person items shall be clearly marked by Resident to indicate Resident’s ownership. Facility strongly discourages Residents from keeping valuable jewelry, papers, electronic equipment, large sums of money or other valuable items within the Facility. Facility shall not be responsible for loss, theft or destruction of Resident’s personal property. While Facility has appropriate policies and procedures to provide reasonable security for Resident’s property, Facility encourages Resident to deposit valuable items (such as jewelry or money) with management for safekeeping. Resident’s item may be kept in a safe and will be logged by Facility. Utmost care will be taken to assure the safety of Resident’s personal belongings. Any allegation of misappropriation of the Resident’s property will be thoroughly investigated. In an effort to make the Facility more homelike, Resident may be allowed by Facility to bring in such items such as dressers, chairs, pictures, mementos and other personal items as regulations, space, sanitation, safety consideration and similar matters allow. Regulations may specifically prohibit some items such as rugs, hot plates, microwaves, coffee pots, space heaters, electronic blankets, curling irons, flat irons, steamers, candle warmers and heating pads. Items in question should first be discussed with and approved by the Director of Nursing Services or the Administrator prior to bringing them in the Facility. Facility reserves the right to rescind any prior good health approval, and may at any time, require Resident to remove a person item Facility believes, in its sole discretion, should be removed.

  • Fixtures and Personal Property All machinery, equipment, fixtures (including, but not limited to all heating, air conditioning, plumbing, lighting, communications and elevator fixtures) and other property of every kind and nature whatsoever owned by Borrower, or in which Borrower has or shall have an interest, now or hereafter located upon the Land or the Improvements, or appurtenant thereto, and used in connection with the present or future operation and occupancy of the Land and the Improvements and all building equipment, materials and supplies of any nature whatsoever owned by Borrower, or in which Borrower has or shall have an interest, now or hereafter located upon the Land and the Improvements, or appurtenant thereto, or used in connection with the present or future operation and occupancy of the Land and the Improvements (collectively, the "Personal Property"), and the right, title and interest of Borrower in and to any of the Personal Property which may be subject to any security interests, as defined in the Uniform Commercial Code, as adopted and enacted by the state or states where any of the Property is located (the "Uniform Commercial Code"), superior in lien to the lien of this Security Instrument and all proceeds and products of the above;

  • Real and Personal Property The Company has good and marketable title to, or has valid rights to lease or otherwise use, all items of real and personal property that are material to the business of the Company free and clear of all liens, encumbrances, claims and defects and imperfections of title except those that (i) do not materially interfere with the use of such property by the Company or (ii) would not reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.

  • Personal Items In accordance with Departmental policy, employees will be reimbursed for personal items required on the job that are lost, damaged or destroyed in the line of duty. Reimbursement will be up to an amount of $100 per occurrence, excluding prescription eyewear.

  • Privacy and Personal Information (a) This clause 14 applies where this agreement amounts to a “service arrangement” under the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld).

  • HOLIDAYS AND PERSONAL DAYS During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to Holidays and Personal Days in accordance with Hxxxxxx Jxxxx policy (currently12 paid Holidays and 10 Personal days per calendar year). Unused Holidays and Personal Days may not be carried forward from one calendar year to any subsequent calendar year.

  • Sick and Personal Leave The Assistant Principal shall annually be entitled to twelve (12) days of sick leave and two (2) days of personal leave. Unused personal leave days will accumulate as sick leave days. Earned sick leave may accumulate to a maximum of 340 days. Every sick day that is issued for the current school year and eventually not utilized during that school year will be multiplied by 1.5 at the end of the school year (e.g., 10 unused sick days on June 30, 2022 will be converted in a credit of 15 sick days for the Assistant Principal’s use.) This unused sick day multiplier will not be in effect during the four (4) years prior to retirement.

  • Valuables Merry Maids requests that you ensure that all extremely fragile and breakable items are removed or secured on the day that the service is provided.

  • Personal Belongings Tenant agrees not to leave any personal belongings (including lawn furniture) in the parking areas, common halls, sidewalks, lawn areas or other common areas of the apartment community.
