Common use of Medical Procedures Clause in Contracts

Medical Procedures. 43.1 Except in a medical emergency, the Board shall not require any Member to administer medication, perform any medical/physical procedures or examine students for communicable conditions or diseases. No Member shall be liable if the Member volunteers to assist the Principal/Vice-Principal in a medical emergency. 43.2 A bargaining unit Member who volunteers to administer medication or perform medical procedures will be fully covered by the Board’s liability insurance.
