Medical Procedures. 23.01 No teacher shall be required to administer medication or perform any medical or physical procedure on any pupil that might in any way endanger the safety or well-being of the pupil or subject the teacher to risk of injury or liability for negligence. A teacher shall respond to a medical emergency involving a pupil(s) in a responsible manner. No teacher shall be required to physically examine pupils for pediculosis or for any other medical condition or disease.
