Common use of MEET AND DISCUSS Clause in Contracts

MEET AND DISCUSS. 7.1 The President or the President's representative shall meet periodically at a mutually agreeable time with a representative designated by the AAUP to discuss matters related to the administration of the Agreement. These discussions shall neither substitute for, nor circumvent, the contractual grievance procedure. 7.2 Nothing in this Agreement shall preclude the University President (or his/her representative) and the AAUP President (or his/her representative) from discussing any matters of mutual concern. Three (3) such meetings per academic year may be called upon the request of either party with additional meetings as mutually agreed.
