Common use of Membership Cancellation Clause in Contracts

Membership Cancellation. Dues deductions shall cease upon the happening of any of the following events: A. Resignation or discharge of the employee; B. Transfer of the employee from the bargaining unit; C. Revocation of the dues deduction authorization. Such revocation must be in writing submitted to the City's Finance Director with a copy to the Association. Such revocation may be submitted only during the "window period" between one hundred twenty (120) days and ninety (90) days prior to the end of this Agreement.
