Common use of Minimum Maternity Leave Clause in Contracts

Minimum Maternity Leave. An employee on maternity leave must take a period of leave at least six (6) weeks immediately following the date of delivery, unless the employee and the Company agree to shorten the period. In such cases, the employee shall provide the Company with a medical certificate indicating that resumption of work will not endanger her health.
