Minister’s Right to Audit Accounts and Records. The Recipient shall, at its own expense, maintain and preserve in Canada and make available for audit and examination by the Minister or the Minister’s representatives all books, accounts and records relating to this Agreement or the Project held by the Recipient, its Affiliated Persons, agents and contractors and of the information necessary to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, including repayment to the Minister. The Minister will have the right to conduct such audits at the Minister’s expense as may be considered necessary. Unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Minister, the Recipient and its Affiliated Persons, agents and contractors shall maintain and preserve all books, accounts, invoices, receipts and records and all other documentation related to this Agreement until the end of the Recipient Fiscal Year that ends seven (7) years after the fiscal year of the date on which they were created.
