MISCELLANEOUS PARTS. As a service to the customer and to facilitate an efficient installation of the gas turbine, GE provides for shipment of miscellaneous parts needed during field installation. Shipment is in a single 96" x 96" x 192" (2438 mm x 2438 mm x 4877 mm) weather-tight cargo container. The plywood container, which can be opened from one end, is outfitted with shelves and bins for parts storage. The container comprises what amounts to a "mobile stockroom" and is designed for transport by truck or rail. Within the container, each part is packed, identified with its own label or tag, and stowed in an assigned bin or shelf. A master inventory list furnished with the container provides the location of each part for ease in locating the item. An additional box approximately 60" x 60" x 216" (1524 mm x 1524 mm x 5486 mm) is furnished for the interconnecting piping. 2.2.10.1 OFF-BASE COOLANT-TO-AIR INDUSTRIAL TYPE COOLING SYSTEM A self contained, off-base industrial type, closed-loop pressurized coolant system is supplied to dissipate the heat from the lubrication oil and turbine support legs. It also cools the flame detectors, atomizing air system and generator. The following major components are included: o Modular 100% capacity coolant-to-air heat exchanger mounted off-base, with motor driven fans to force air over finned tube heat exchangers. The fan motor power is supplied from the unit motor control center. o Automatic temperature controller which regulates coolant flow to control lube oil temperature during operation. o Dual full-flow AC motor-driven coolant circulating pumps (one running, one standby). o Make-up and expansion tank. o Instruments for the system as follows: -- Tank low level alarm and indicator -- Panel mounted water header pressure gauge, pressure switch and temperature switch. -- Coolant header temperature gauge -- Inlet and outlet thermometers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.3 GAS TURBINE ELECTRICAL DESCRIPTION

  • Miscellaneous Provision It is hereby understood that, to be entitled to the benefits under this Agreement, the MEMBER hereby waives his/her consent to the disclosure and processing of his/her medical/health information which is determinative for the assessment of his/her coverage and necessary for the treatment of his/her illness. MediCard, its Medical Service Units/Teams and its Accredited Hospitals/Clinics are hereby released from any liability by reason of such disclosure.

  • Miscellaneous Powers The Trustees shall have the power to: (a) employ or contract with such Persons as the Trustees may deem desirable for the transaction of the business of the Trust; (b) enter into joint ventures, partnerships and any other combinations or associations; (c) purchase, and pay for out of Trust Property, insurance policies insuring the Shareholders, Trustees, officers, employees, agents, investment advisors, distributors, selected dealers or independent contractors of the Trust against all claims arising by reason of holding any such position or by reason of any action taken or omitted by any such Person in such capacity, whether or not constituting negligence, or whether or not the Trust would have the power to indemnify such Person against such liability; (d) establish pension, profit-sharing, share purchase, and other retirement, incentive and benefit plans for any Trustees, officers, employees and agents of the Trust; (e) make donations, irrespective of benefit to the Trust, for charitable, religious, educational, scientific, civic or similar purposes; (f) to the extent permitted by law, indemnify any Person with whom the Trust has dealings, including without limitation any advisor, administrator, manager, transfer agent, custodian, distributor or selected dealer, or any other person as the Trustees may see fit to such extent as the Trustees shall determine; (g) guarantee indebtedness or contractual obligations of others; (h) determine and change the fiscal year of the Trust and the method in which its accounts shall be kept; and (i) adopt a seal for the Trust but the absence of such seal shall not impair the validity of any instrument executed on behalf of the Trust.

  • Miscellaneous Items Borrower shall deliver to Lender such other items, documents and evidences pertaining to the Line of Credit as may reasonably be requested by Lender.

  • Miscellaneous Rules 1 The provisions of this Agreement shall not be construed to restrict in any manner any exclusion, exemption, deduction, credit, or other allowances now or hereafter accorded: (a) by the laws of a Contracting State in the determination of the tax imposed by that State; or (b) by any other agreement entered into by a Contracting State.

  • Miscellaneous Leaves L31.1 Application for Miscellaneous Leave shall be made to the Executive Superintendent of Employee Services or designate. The Teacher shall notify the principal at the time the application is made and whenever possible shall make the application at least five days prior to the day for which the leave is requested.

  • Miscellaneous Leave Leave with or without pay may be granted for the following purposes subject to the criteria set out below being met. (a) Where a teacher is prevented from travelling from their home to work because of an emergency situation outside of the control of the teacher (up to seven (7) days leave with pay may be granted) provided that this provision is for emergencies only. Approval shall not be given where the teacher has advance notice or in circumstances where the teacher could be reasonably expected to have foreseen the situation arising. Where practicable the teacher is to inform the school of the reasons for the absence and is required to return to duty as soon as possible. Full details of the case shall be submitted.

  • Miscellaneous Terms The term "or" is disjunctive; the term "and" is conjunctive. The term "shall" is mandatory; the term "may" is permissive. Masculine terms also apply to females; feminine terms also apply to males. The term "including" is by way of example and not limitation.

That in accordance with §2155.4441, Texas Government Code, the Contractor shall, in performing any service under this Contract, purchase products and materials produced in Texas when they are available at a comparable price and in a comparable period to products and materials produced outside of Texas. D. To make a good faith effort to utilize historically underutilized businesses ("HUBs") when subcontracting. Some methods for locating HUBs include using searchable HUB databases at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts' website, using websites or other minority/women directory listings maintained by local xxxxxxxx of commerce, advertising subcontract work in local minority publications or contacting HHSC for assistance in locating available HUBs. E. That except as provided in the paragraphs below, the Contractor must not use HHSC's name, the State of Texas or refer to HHSC or the State directly or indirectly in any media release, public announcement, or public disclosure relating to this Contract or its subject matter, including, but not limited to, in any promotional or marketing materials, customer lists or business presentations (other than those submitted to HHSC, an administrative agency of the State of Texas, or a governmental agency or unit of another state or the Federal Government). The Contractor may publish, at its sole expense, results of Contractor performance under this Contract with HHSC's prior review and approval, which HHSC may exercise at its sole discretion. Any publication (written, visual, or sound) will acknowledge the support received from HHSC and any Federal agency, as appropriate. The Contractor will provide HHSC at least 3 copies of such publication prior to public release. The Contractor will provide additional copies at the request of HHSC. The Contractor may include information concerning this Contract's terms, subject matter, and estimated value in any report to a governmental body to which the law requires the Contractor to report such information. The Contractor must not use HHSC’s logo under any circumstances.
