Common use of Miscellaneous Provision Clause in Contracts

Miscellaneous Provision. 1. All absences in excess of the ones provided for in these policies shall be at full loss of pay. 2. In order that maximum benefits may be provided to all employees in time of valid need, it is imperative that proper controls be used to eliminate the misuse of the various types of leaves in this policy. An employee who abuses the leave policy is subject to disciplinary action. 3. Teachers shall be given a written accounting of accumulated sick leave days on or before the first pay day of each school year. 4. Any employee may be required to submit appropriate evidence concerning the cause of absence in order to qualify for sick leave benefits. Appropriate evidence may include any of the following at the direction of the office of the Superintendent: (a) A Physician’s statement endorsed by the employee. (b) The employee’s statement endorsed by the Principal or immediate supervisor. (c) Xxxx leave claimed on days immediately preceding or immediately following holidays or non-work days other than weekends. (d) Xxxx leave claimed during the last four weeks of employment.
