MOAZANAH SYSTEM OVERVIEW Sample Clauses

MOAZANAH SYSTEM OVERVIEW. Since Xxxxxxx receives a large number of project requests from other government agencies, internal departments as well as PMCs, Xxxxxxx has realized the need to create a capital project request management system (Moazanah) that would automate the end to end capital project request process. The goal of the system is to manage all capital project requests submitted to Ashghal from other government agencies, internal departments as well as PMCs. The system is of the upmost importance since it would manage the budgeting of all project requests to Ashghal. In 2007 Ashghal created a capital project request management system (CAPRMS) with the goal of automating the end to end capital project request cycle. Before the system the capital project request submission involved many manual steps. Information Technology was used minimally, e.g. for compilation (Excel) and communication (Outlook). In addition, the project requests were not spatially managed. As a result, there are many issues faced by the stakeholders in Ashghal. Automating the processes yielded significant operational benefits.
