Common use of Moderation Allowance Clause in Contracts

Moderation Allowance. (a) A teacher who performs moderation duties and is responsible to a district moderation meeting for the assessment of a subject (or subject area) for Year 11 or 12 shall be paid an allowance as per Schedule 1 – S1.1 of this Agreement. (b) The moderation allowance will not be paid to a teacher who is in receipt of an Middle Leader Tier 1 allowance as described in Schedules 2 of this Agreement.
