Multi-Skilling of Employees. The Commission endorses multi-skilling of Employees. Varied on-the-job experiences develops Employees by enabling them to enhance their career development through new skills, work experience and networking opportunities. Multi-skilling is also seen as aiding the Commission’s and Employee’s knowledge base and efficiency through knowledge sharing and the ability for job rotation. Multi-skilling incorporates opportunities for job rotation to different work units of the Commission. The Commission views job rotation as a means of rewarding, developing and motivating future performance as Employees learn and grow from additional assignments. Job rotation should not be confused with promotion, as it is typically a lateral transfer of job, assignment or department (permanent or temporary) that is not accompanied by a salary increase. Employees are also encouraged to apply for vacancies in the Commission to which they are suitably skilled. Multi-skilling shall be considered in an Employee’s performance assessment review. Should an Employee have worked under more than one Manager, the Employee’s performance and achievements under both Managers will be considered.

  • HIRING OF EMPLOYEES Company and Shareholders shall cooperate with all requests made by Pentegra for the purpose of allowing Pentegra to hire those non-dentist employees of Company designated by Pentegra, such employment to be effective as of the Closing Date.   • List of Employees The Union shall be provided quarterly via compact disc a current list of names, employee numbers, classifications, addresses, home telephone numbers, work locations, hourly rate, status (regular, substitute, temporary) and social security numbers of all employees covered by this Agreement. This list will also include all employees newly hired into the bargaining unit during the preceding quarter and all bargaining unit employees who have separated from the District during the preceding quarter.

  • Laid Off Employees A) Should vacancies occur following layoff, those employees on layoff will be recalled to these positions in order of seniority providing they have the capabilities and the qualifications to perform the duties of the vacant position. If no employee on layoff possesses the required capabilities and qualifications, the vacant position will be posted pursuant to Article 15.01.
