If the customer cancels the contract within the first 30 days following the beginning of the contract and no claim has been made, the customer shall be entitled to a full refund of the paid contract fees. If the customer cancels after the 30th day or after a claim has been made, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less an administrative fee of an amount equal to one month’s Plan Fee. If AHS fails to refund any amount owed under this section within 45 days of customer’s cancellation of the contract, AHS will pay a ten percent penalty for each 30-day period or portion thereof that the refund and any accrued penalties remain unpaid.
