New and/or Revised Classifications. When a new job is placed in the Unit or when there is a revision of any existing classification, the Employer will establish a classification, a job description, including illustrative tasks and minimum qualifications, and a rate structure to apply. Upon the establishment of any such classification and rate structure or revision of a job description, the Employer shall notify the union in writing and will provide the Union with a copy of the job description and pay rate. The Union shall have fourteen (14) calendar days to object to assigned pay level. If the Union disagrees with the established pay level the matter will be subject to negotiations. Before the College revises any existing job description, it shall provide the incumbent employee(s) in the position with an opportunity to provide input regarding the terms of the new description.
