“New Assignment” Extended Shift Overtime. a. Unit employees in Public Works Field Operations, Information Services Department and Neighborhood Services Field Staff required to work extended shift overtime, for a new or different work assignment than the unit employee had been working on in the course of the regular workday, upon notification no more than one-half hour prior to the end of the regular work shift, shall be granted a minimum of two (2) work time hours of overtime.
