New School Year Routing. The DISTRICT shall provide the list of known students by the end of the second week of May of each AGREEMENT year so that the CONTRACTOR can develop routes by August 1 of each AGREEMENT year for this group of students. An updated list including the rollover of students by grade level shall be submitted to the CONTRACTOR by the end of the first full week of July of each AGREEMENT year. A final list shall be provided to the CONTRACTOR five days prior to the start of school year. The CONTRACTOR shall make every effort to provide transportation services to students not included in the final list prior to the start of school or through the first two weeks of school following five full working days from the date the student's information is sent to the CONTRACTOR. If the CONTRACTOR is unable to provide transportation services to such students within five days, the CONTRACTOR shall provide the DISTRICT with an explanation as to the reasons why the CONTRACTOR is unable to provide such transportation services and provide a timeline as to when services can reasonably commence. Notification to parents and students of scheduled pick-up times prior to the start of each school year and the costs for notification shall be borne by the DISTRICT. The contractor will provide all pick-up time data and other requested information to the DISTRICT to facilitate notification of parents and students by August 1 of each school year. All necessary continuing communications shall be consistent with the common practices of the DISTRICT, any postage or publication fees will be paid by the DISTRICT. The CONTRACTOR shall provide an updated routing plan by September 20th in preparation for student count day.

  • Length of School Year 4.6.1 Except where reduced by any lawful decision of the employer to close the school to students, the length of the school year for each school shall be determined according to the requirement that schools are required to be open for at least 380 half days in any one calendar year. 4.6.2 The normal teaching load of teachers in respect of any one year is therefore related to that requirement.

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer.
