Common use of Night Shift Clause in Contracts

Night Shift. If a third shift is employed, the hours of work shall be seven (7) hours of work between the hours of 12:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. for which eight (8) hours shall be paid and a shift premium of fifty cents (50¢) shall be added on to the classified hourly rate.

Monday, for which eight (8) hours shall be paid and a shift premium of fifty cents (50¢$0.50) shall be added on to the classified hourly rate.

Hours of work in the shop may be changed by mutual agreement between the Company and the Union and will reflect local branch conditions and requirements.
