Common use of No Strike Agreement Clause in Contracts

No Strike Agreement. The Association recognizes the public policy as expressed in NRS 288.230 in which the Nevada Legislature declared: That the services provided by the School District as an employer are of such nature that they are not and cannot be duplicated from other sources and are essential to the health, safety and welfare of the people. That the continuity of such services is likewise essential and their disruption incompatible with the responsibility to the people; and It is the public policy of the State of Nevada that a strike against the School District as a Local Government Employer is illegal. The Association agrees to act and conduct its affairs in accordance with this policy. The Association, its officers and agents, agree further that they shall not support any strike against the Xxxxxx City School District nor shall they engage in or support any action to impair the rendering of such essential services by the District.
