No Strike/No Lockout Provision. A. During the term of this agreement, the union will not support nor authorize a work stoppage, slowdown, informational picketing, strike, or any other disruption nor interference with the operation of the district, nor will it authorize nor condone such action on the part of any member or groups of members of said Union. B. In the event of any violation or violations of any provisions of this Article by the Union, its members or representatives or by any employee, any violating employee shall be subject to discipline or discharge as determined appropriate in the sole and unilateral discretion of the Board. The Union shall, upon notice form the Board, immediately direct such employees both orally and in writing to resume normal operations and make every other reasonable effort to end any violation(s). Informational picketing will be permitted during the hiatus period of the contract, that is, after June 30, 2017. C. During the term of this contract, the District shall not lock out bargaining unit employees.
