Northern Allowance Provisions. (b) Transportation Expense (i) Employees who are required to use their vehicles for the conduct of the Employer’s business on an occasional basis shall be reimbursed sixty-one point one ($.6110) cents per kilometer above the 54th parallel with a minimum of four dollars and fifty cents ($4.50) per round trip. (ii) Employees who are required to use their vehicles for the conduct of the Employer’s business on a continuing basis as a condition of employment shall be reimbursed at a kilometer rate of sixty-one point one ($.6110) cents per kilometer above the 54th parallel with a minimum of four dollars and fifty cents ($4.50) per round trip. A monthly car allowance shall be provided in accordance with Article 19.01. (iii) An Employee who is called back to the Facility/Agency for duty shall be reimbursed for all reasonable and substantiated transportation expense. If the Employee travels for such purposes by private automobile, reimbursement shall be at the rate of sixty-one point one ($.6110) cents per kilometer above the 54th parallel from the Employee’s residence to the Facility/Agency and return with a minimum of four dollars and fifty cents ($4.50) per round trip. (iv) Employees working at the Cumberland House Primary Care Health Centre shall be reimbursed at the rate of sixty-one point one ($.6110) cents per kilometer from the junction of Highway 55 and 123 and North in the above articles. (v) Kilometer rate increases as per Article 19.01.
