Northern District Allowance. All Employees shall be paid a Northern District Allowance. Northern District Allowance will be prorated for Employees working less than full- time. The monthly rates are: October 1, 2022 – four hundred dollars ($400.00)
Northern District Allowance. Employees stationed at LaRonge shall be eligible for Northern District Allowance in the amount of $80.00 per month.

Northern District Allowance. Employees assigned to work north of the 54th parallel shall be intitled to receive an additional fifty ($50.00) per day allowance to offset sustenance and accommodation costs.

Employees shall be paid Northern District Allowance bi-weekly, over and above their basic rate of pay, in accordance with the following: $55.00 bi-weekly commencing upon the first pay period following ratification of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The allowance shall be prorated for OTFT employees. Employees shall receive an increase in the biweekly Northern District Allowance in accordance with SGEU/PSC rates. The Northern District Allowance will be adjusted by the same percentage salary increase negotiated for the bargaining unit as of January 1st of each year unless otherwise agreed to by the parties. The adjustment yielded by the increase will be rounded to the nearest (1/2) dollar.
