Common use of Not on Standby Clause in Contracts

Not on Standby. When a regular full-time employee who is not on standby pay is called in to work and reports for work on a day other than his regularly scheduled work day, he/she shall be provided with and assigned to at least a minimum of two (2) hours work. In the event such work is not available, the employee shall be paid a minimum reporting allowance equal to two (2) hours pay at his/her regular hourly rate.
