Common use of Notice of Discharge or Discipline Clause in Contracts

Notice of Discharge or Discipline. The University agrees promptly upon the discharge of any employee, where no disciplinary hearing is to take place, to notify the employee in writing of any discharge or discipline together with an additional copy to the chief xxxxxxx and Union President. Prior to any disciplinary hearing or meeting with the employer that may cause disciplinary action to be taken, the effected employee will be provided with Union representation.
