SCOPE OF AGREEMENT AND OPERATIONS COVERED. It is understood and agreed that this Agreement shall cover all airport construction work (exclusive of buildings) and all highway, parking lot, roadway and bridge construction work and bicycle paths, running tracks and bridle paths which any Contractor bound by this Agreement performs within the State of Michigan and which comes within the jurisdiction of the Union.

SCOPE OF AGREEMENT AND OPERATIONS COVERED. The Employer and the Union agree that the contents of this Agreement shall be a full and complete coverage and statement of the terms and conditions of employment for those employees covered by this Agreement and the conditions of employment shall be improved upon as prescribed wherever agreed upon. This Agreement shall be applicable as to all employees of the Fire Department of the Employer, except the Fire Chief and civilian employees.

SCOPE OF AGREEMENT AND OPERATIONS COVERED. It is understood and agreed that this Agreement shall cover all hourly rated and salary regular full- time employees engaged in the supervision of physical and clerical workers including Communications Coordinator, Supervisors, Foremen, Assistant Data Processing Manager, Assistant City Assessor, WRF Superintendent, WFP Superintendent, Residuals Specialist and Permit Agent as defined in the State of Michigan Labor Mediation Board Certified Case No. R08 E-085, dated July 28, 2008, who perform work for the City of Port Huron, County of St. Clair, in the State of Michigan, excluding Directors, Managers, Department Heads, Division Heads, City Manager, Confidential Employees, Clerical Employees, Secretaries, Clerks, Equipment Operators, Maintenance Workers, Operators and other Physical Laborers, Part-time, Seasonal and Temporary Workers.
SCOPE OF AGREEMENT AND OPERATIONS COVERED. It is understood and agreed that this Agreement shall cover all hourly rated employees in the Department of Public Works, Parks Division, Cemetery Division, Forestry Division, and Recreation Department as defined in the State of Michigan Labor Mediation Board Certified Case No. R77C0183, dated June 16, 1977, who perform work for the City of Port Huron, County of St. Clair, in the State of Michigan, excluding all others. This Agreement does not cover seasonal employees. However, for purposes of Union security, the Employer definitely recognizes the very essential need to utilize seasonal employment on a limited basis. Therefore, seasonal employment will begin no earlier than April 1st and shall not continue past November 30th, unless reviewed with the Union. Hours to be worked by these seasonal employees shall be Monday through Friday, normal day shift hours only. The Employer and Union further agree that, in the event of a disability situation for an unusual length of time, replacement can be made on a temporary basis by utilization of a temporary bidding process that allows only for upward bidding by personnel within the affected division. This restriction on seasonal employees shall not inhibit the employer’s right to utilize employees hired in a Temporary Laborer classification during any time of the year. Employees coded as Temporary Laborers will not be allowed to work beyond six (6) months of continuous service.
