Common use of Notice of Parental Leave Clause in Contracts

Notice of Parental Leave. (a) A teacher must give the Board six weeks of notice of the date the teacher will start parental leave unless the medical condition of the birth mother or child makes it impossible to comply with the requirement. (b) If the teacher cannot comply with the written notice requirement for any of the reasons stated under section 9.3.6(a), the teacher must give the Board written notice at the earliest possible time of the date that the teacher will or has started parental leave.
